Acetal/Delrin - Acetal/Delrin   View Specifications
Acetal homopolymers properties include low water absorption and superior creep resistance, tensile strength, and fatigue endurance. It is resistant to hydrocarbons, solvents, and neutral chemicals.
Ertalyte - Ertalyte   View Specifications
The specific properties of this virgin crystalline PET make it specially suitable for the manufacture of mechanical precision parts which have to sustain high loads and / or are subject to wear.
Nylon/Nylatron - Nylatron   View Specifications
Nylatron offers high load bearing capabilities (4000 psi), good strength and rigidity, and a low coefficient of friction. Nylatron should be considered for high load applications where minimal impacting exists.
Nylon/Nylatron - Nylon   View Specifications
Nylon is one of the most versatile and widely used thermoplastic materials. Its physical properties and reasonable price combine to make it a popular choice for numerous applications. It can replace steel, brass, bronze, aluminium, wood, and rubber, while reducing noise, using less lubrication, and increasing gear life.
Nylon/Nylatron - Nylon GSM   View Specifications
Nylatron GSM contains finely divided particles of molybdenum disulphide to enhance its bearing and wear behaviour without impairing the impact and fatigue resistance inherent to unmodified cast nylon grades. It is a very commonly used grade for gears, bearings, sprockets and sheaves.
Polyethylene (HDPE) - Polyethylene(HDPE)   View Specifications
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a corrosion resistant material that has higher impact strength, and a higher operating temperature than LDPE. It has excellent tensile strength, energy absorption, abrasion resistance and resistance to stress cracks. It has very good chemical, excellent machinability, low coefficient of friction and is self lubricating.
Polyethylene (HDPE) - HDPE Grade 1000
HDPE Grade 1000, general purpose UHMWPE, is suited to engineered applications where its unique properties of excellent impact strength, wear and abrasion resistance are required.
PTFE (Teflon) - PTFE (Teflon)   View Specifications
Teflon PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is a fluorocarbon. It offers superior heat resistance (up to 500 F/260 C) coupled with excellent chemical resistance and lubricant. Very few materials will stick to it.  It is inert to almost all chemicals, cannot be dissolved, and exhibits no moisture absorption.
Tufnol - Tufnol
Strong, rigid and with good electrical insulation properties. Not recommended for use where toughness and high stress is present. Comes in a variety of grades for different applications.
UHMWPE - UHMWPE   View Specifications
Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) is 1/8 the weight of mild steel but is high in tensile strength and as simple to machine as wood. Also unlike steel, UHMWPE reduces noise in many applications. It is an inexpensive alternative to metals, ceramics, and wood because it is self-lubricating; long-wearing; and shatter-, abrasion-, and corrosion-resistant. UHMWPE is well suited for applications that demand durability and low friction.
